Are you a parent who has a young person struggling with career decisions? Are they wondering what subjects to take at GCSE or A level; perhaps thinking about college, unversity or an apprenticeship? If they're 18 they may not want to go to university so what next? Or have they just finished university and are finding the job search process tricky? Just a few situations where, as a parent, you may be thinking HELP!! Each young person, of course, is on a different path and at a different stage and so I would put together a Career Action Plan that is completely unique to them. The aim of the guidance session is to explore, evaluate and clarify potential career options so that I can help your son or daughter develop an evolving yet flexible Career Action Plan that gives practical steps towards their goal. The Careers Action Plan will be presented in pdf format which I will send across to you so that you have a working document that can be updated and reviewed as your teenager/young adult develops career management skills. Just one session (1 hr - £55), may well be enough to support your teenager to make some valuable career decisions. Or you may decide the 6 week Job Search Challenge coaching programme is more appropriate particularly if your son or daughter is seeking employment. Support over a six week period has the most effect and my clients who commit to the JOB SEARCH CHALLENGE programme are those who reach job success in a shorter time frame.
