You may be wondering, now you've graduated, why it's so difficult finding the job you want? You have studied hard for your degree and you've been hoping that will help you a secure a job of your choice. In reality, your degree has value and you did not waste your time. BUT, now you need to learn about everything that will impact your success and impede your chances of reaching your goal. Time and time again, graduates are applying for jobs, thinking it's a numbers game and are suprised when they don't receive replies or get interviews. The market is hugely competitive and a job is not secured on qualifications alone. But I can help you change all that: The key to job success will require good preparation in the following areas: 1. Identifying, understanding and utilising your strengths and values 2. Creating effective CV content and presentation for each application that reflects the job role 3. Developing a stunning letter or application by identifying and linking competencies, culture fit and values to the job vacany and use example experiences 4. Understanding applicant tracking systems and how to avoid the pitfalls 5. Starting a LinkedIn profile 6. Practicing interview skills for real live job applications 7. Practicing all aspects of a graduate programme recruitment proess including assessment days, interviews, role plays and and completing psychometric tests. 7. Developing the unknown job market search skills, managing the process whilst building confidence and resilience 8. Becoming adaptable and flexible whilst building career experience and maximising new learning. 9. How not to be put off by ALL the essential and desired skills 10. Develop a bulls eye plan to help you see the bigger picture The first session will include an Action Plan or follow up email.
