Service Description

Even though there are plenty of job opportunities in the current market, the competition for young people into job that offer progression through apprenticeships and technical and professional qualifications can be very competitive. Schools do not have the time and budget to prepare young people fully for the world of work. whcih means that young people may not have the tools or skills to take best advantage of new career opportunities, so I am offering career coaching that specifically relates to finding work in a difficult employment market. Whether your young person is leaving school post Yr13, a university graduate or is being made redundant, the Job Search Challenge will help them to focus very specifically on practical steps to be taken to be successful in this changing job landscape. The key to their job success will require good preparation in the following areas: 1. Identifying, understanding and utilising their strengths and values 2. Creating effective CV content and presentation for each application 3. Developing a stunning letter or application by identifying links between competencies, culture fit and values and job vacancies and use of example experiences. 4.. Practicing interview skills for real live job applications 5. Developing the unknown job market search skills, managing the process whilst building confidence and resilience 6. Becoming adaptable and flexible whilst building career experience and maximising new learning. The first session will include an Action Plan or follow up email. ALSO INCLUDED: Two 30 minute follow up calls on completion of the programme. For more information contact me on 07910 273740 or email me at elaine@jampackedcareers.co.uk.
