Jampacked Careers - Services Agreement
What to Expect
Elaine Latchford of Jampacked Careers agrees to provide careers information, advice and guidance to individuals requiring assistance with careers progression.
This will normally include a first session comprising exploration, evaluation of careers ideas and implications of decisions being considered. This first session may also include signposting to other organisations for funding or other support.
After the first careers advice session, Jampacked Careers will work with the client to produce an Action Plan.
Further sessions may be offered and/or recommended where it is clear that additional support is needed to make further progression. These make take the form of CV writing, interview practice, developing job search skills and longer term career coaching support.
Services are normally provided in one hour sessions. Other arrangements can be made to suit individual clients.
Elaine Latchford is a qualified (Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance - Distinction) and experienced careers adviser who is a member of the Institute of Careers Guidance and is a Registered Career Development Professional. All members are bound by a code of ethical standards (see separate document).
How we work
Careers advice sessions can be arranged daytimes, evenings or weekends. They can be either face to face, by telephone or video call.
The face to face sessions take place at a mutually agreed venue that provides a quiet and comfortable space to ensure the efficacy of the session.
Cancellation
If for any reason you are unable to attend, we request that you provide a minimum of 24 hours notice so that other clients may utilise the opportunity of an earlier appointment. If 24 hours’ notice is given a 50% refund will be given. Less than this, no refund will be given.
Prices and Payment
Individual Guidance
Fees for individual guidance sessions are charged at £55 per hour. (These prices are current at July 2022 but are subject to change). These charges relate to any method of guidance delivery and at any time of day/evening.
Payment is required either prior to the session booked or at the end of the advice session payable by direct bank transfer.
Insurance
Jampacked Careers has professional indemnity, public and products liability insurance underwritten by Direct Line.
Confidentiality
All information provided by the client to Jampacked Careers is deemed confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party unless the client expressly wishes information to be provided to another organisation in relation to providing further careers support/funding. Data Protection
CV’s, Action Plans and other personal information will be held on computer and back up discs for 6 months, after which time the information will be deleted and any related paperwork will be destroyed. Should you require your details to be held for a longer period please advise us.
